in 1979, the episcopal diocese of southwest florida recognized the need for a place where guests from all over the world could congregate and worship in a tranquil, transformative environment. dayspring found an idyllic home in what is now 97 acres of “old florida” property along the north bank of the manatee river.
email lee serves as the connections pastor at dayspring, which involves helping our guests and members connect to life giving community and identify potential ministry areas to serve. he also provides oversight to the dayspring connect team who can be found assisting people around the campus during our weekly services.

dayspring is a sacred place with sacred grounds. it is a place like no other. when you are at dayspr ing, you know the world exists outside the grounds, but for the time being you are in a place where lives are transformed, hearts are mended, spirits are renewed in christ and you are free to come to the cross not just for forgiveness and mercy, but also to praise him, and to thank him.
